Mitchells and Butlers first engaged with Savvy in April 2012 with a very clear understanding of what they wanted to achieve.
With the growing adoption of Gift Card programmes by high street retailers in the UK there was an emergence of hospitality brands starting to launch their own gift card programmes, and M&B were very clear in what was driving their interest in Savvy’s Gift Card offering:
The M&B programme has since totally evolved to support multi-channel sales via B2B and Gift Card Malls, the development of the highly popular ‘Dining Out Card product as well as supporting key innovation areas including Digital online sales, Customer Rewards, Staff rewards, Guest Care and other product use cases.
Back in 2012 when Savvy were selected by M&B to be their Gift Card processor there was a very clear plan at the onset, and a long-term vision of how the solution could be developed and maximised to bring more than just a Gift Card product to market.
